Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Bridget Daehler Photography collects when you use this website, submit an inquiry, book a session or view a private client gallery, and what is done with that information.

It applies to this website and to the email correspondence that follows an inquiry. It does not cover third party sites linked from here, which publish their own policies.

Information you give directly: your name, email address, phone number, session type, preferred dates and anything else you write in a contact form or email. This is the only information required to answer an inquiry or book a session.

Information collected automatically: standard web request data such as pages viewed, referring page, approximate region, browser and device type. This is used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful, not to identify individual visitors.

Contact details are used to reply to your inquiry, schedule and prepare for a session, deliver your gallery and send documents such as agreements and invoices.

Your information is never sold, rented or traded. It is not added to a marketing list unless you explicitly ask to be added, and any such list has a one click unsubscribe.

Photographs from a session belong to the client under the terms of the session agreement, and images are only published publicly, including on this site or on social media, in line with the permission granted in that agreement.

Private client galleries are password protected and hosted with a third party gallery provider. Passwords are shared only with the client and can be changed or the gallery closed on request.

If you would like an image of you or your family removed from the public portfolio, email a request and it will be taken down.

This site uses a small number of cookies necessary for the site to function and, where enabled, privacy conscious analytics that measure page views in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site.

Information is shared only with the service providers needed to run the business, such as the email provider that delivers form notifications and the gallery host that stores your images. Each processes information solely on instruction.

Inquiry records are kept while there is an active conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards for bookkeeping. Session files are archived so that reprints remain possible. You may request deletion at any time.

You may ask what information is held about you, request a correction, request deletion, or withdraw permission for the public use of your images. Requests are handled within a reasonable period at no cost.

Minors are frequently photographed, always with a parent or guardian present and with that parent or guardian signing the session agreement. This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information submitted by a child.
